The Fray

Last Sunday I went to a performance of The Fray in Rotterdam. It was simply amazing. Watching those guys on live on stage is so beautiful to see.
Seeing them totally lose themselves in their music and doing their thing is the most amazing thing to see. They were so passionate and it was like they left the world.
I had a great time and I can't wait to see them live again. I just never seem to get enough. I took a few photos. Unfortunately a woman came up to me and told me that my camera wasn't allowed in there. This happened right before The Fray came up. That was a huge disappointment since I had to take photos with my iphone which isn't the best in taking photos in dark places. I did take pictures of my outfit, which was very simple and comfortable.
I also managed to take photos of Sondre Lerche, who performed before The Fray came up. He was actually pretty good, do if you don't know about him yet you should definitely check him out. I'll leave you with a song of him and Regina Spektor, click.

I bought this pretty poster of Paris and I love it! Unfortunately, I do not have the room to hang it. I had to move away my closet to take pictures with it.
When I have my own house, I'll definitely put it up!

Lately I've been so busy with uni and work, I haven't had time to do anything else. But this Sunday I will be going to The Fray. Anyone familiar with this great band?
I you don't know them you should definitely youtube them. I just have a dilemma; I don't know what to wear. Any suggestions?

I have decided to put some of my personal things on my blog.
You probably already saw some of my photos, but I want to add a little extra. I will also put on my 'art'. I love photography, and not just fashion related. I use my camera for more things than just photographing my outfits. For that reason I would like to show you some of the things I have been working on. I am actually doing a whole series that I will show you soon enough.
My camera isn't available to me right now, but as soon as I have it, I'll get started again.

Jason Mraz is absolutely amazing! His live concert was unbelievable. There aren't many singers who sound better live than on track. I wanted to see him live so much and I finally did. The sun was blazing, the sky was a perfect endless blue and the vibe was thrilling. When Jason came on stage everyone started celebrating. If you are not familiar with Jason Mraz you are really missing something. I recommend you to check him out. Your life won't be the same!

I am really enjoying this weather. I love it; it just makes me so happy. I had a very busy weekend. I had to work, go to a birthday and after that I stayed over at my cousin’s place. We stayed up all night laughing. And today we went to visit some people. We just sat outside in the garden enjoying the warmth of the sun on our skin. It just feels so nice, like there is no trouble in the world.

I have my exams next week so I better start studying. I haven’t done anything yet. This upcoming week I have to work a lot so I’ll be very busy. That leaves me even less time to study. And this wonderful weather isn’t making me want to study either. I’ll just have to stop complaining, and go for it! Me and my friend took some photos the other day. We had so much fun just walking around outside. I’ll show you some of the photos:

Uni is taking up all of my time. Just one week untill my exams and I haven't done much yet! I still have to do so much, and the worst part is that I don't understand most of it.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I have been very busy with all kinds of things. I had to do a photoshoot with a friend, I was the model. She needs to do a project for school. I had to pretend to be like Blair. It was really funny, the people in the streets stopped walking so my friend could take a picture, they thought we were famous.
Also it was my little sisters birhtday last sunday, she is 10 years now.
My exams are coming up, I have to do a lot, and I have so little time. But I hope I'll make it on time.

Just a quick post. Today was so nice, the sun was shining and it wasn't cold! I was so happy! But I had an exam in the evening. So I couln't realllyy enjoy. But it is certainly enough to put a smile on my face.

Do you ever sit and reminisce about the good old times? When you didn’t have any trouble. You could be just careless and free. There weren’t any responsibilities or problems you had to deal with. You could just do whatever you wanted without thinking about it. And the best part of it all was, you didn’t care a bit. You didn’t care about what people said or did. You just lived your life, laughed really hard and had a great time. All of those moments, when you felt infinite. It felt as if those days were going to last forever. As if the sun was always going to shine on you. Where you just fell in love so deep, without even thinking about it. And you were so happy, and couldn’t stop smiling. And there was a glow on your face, because you felt like you belonged. Youth is like diamonds in the sky, and diamond are forever. Why are all these days gone? And where is the endless blue sky? And what happened to that permanent smile on my face? I guess I grew up. Sometimes I wish I could capture those moments, and bring them back. I miss being irresponsible.

The sun was shining today! It felt so good, having the warmth on my skin. So after the uni I went outside to take some photos. I wanted to enjoy the sun as much as I could. Because since I live in Holland, It will probably be raining tomorrow. I didn't even have my coat on! Just a blazer and I wasn't cold at all.
The last couple of days have been busy, so I haven't had time to post. So I am hoping I'll have more time the next couple of days.

It was so nice outside today, the sun was shining. But it was still a little cold for my taste. I went to this little hobbyshop to get some studs, but they didn't have any. So I got some other stuff to do the little projects I had on my mind.I wanted to make a necklace out of a little lock and a key. So here is how it turned out:

Oh, and I also cut my hair. It is a bit shorter, but I had a lot of dead ends.

Spring flowers

Yesterday the weather was great! It wasn't cold at all and the sun was shining. I saw the first spring flowers and that really made my day. I spent the day outside in the park taking photos of flowers. It was so nice being outdoors without freezing. I really missed it a lot and can't wait untill the weather warms up.

Today I haven't done anything really. I had no classes so I just stayed home being lazy. It was sunny again so that made me smile a lot.
Recently I ordered a book for my camera. I use a Canon EOS 450D and I really want to know everything about it. So I hope this book will help me use all the special features. So here is my outfit:

I adore bows!

Why do I want to own everything that has a bow on it? Anything with a bow on it looks cute and therefore I am addicted to bows! I bought this blouse about a year ago. It is from h&m, and I really like the collar. I don't wear it that often and that is a shame really. I actually forgot I owned it, that happens sometimes right?
This week I was sick again so I haven't been able to do much. Just resting.
It is weekend already.. got any plans? I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I think I will make lots of photo's and I'll share them with you so you can tell me what you think. I am off for now, have a lovelyyyyy weekend!

It has been a while. I've been sick, but I am feeling a lot better now. I'm so sorry for not posting in so long, but I am back now. I am free this upcoming week, so I will have all the time to do posts. Today I had to get up reallyyy early, because I had to go to the uni. I am not used to getting up early, so I am feeling really tired now. Lately I have trouble with falling asleep, anyone know what I am talking about?
Usualy my mind starts wandering off, and I start daydreaming while I should be just dreaming. And also, inpiration comes in unexpected times. Late at night I come up with all of these ideas, but I don't feelS like writing them down so I just forget about them again. Anyway, this is my outfit:

Killer heels

Today I went to uni. I had one class and it was extremely boring! My second class got cancelled. And that was a great opportunity to go on a quick shopping spree.
I am really tired now. I have been tired for days now and I don't sleep very well. I think I'm going to be sick soon.
Today when I woke up I saw something I hadn't seen in a while now. It was the sun!! First I thought I was still dreaming, but it was real. I can't even describe how sunlight makes me feel. I just get so happy and excited. I can't wait for more sunshine. I could probably wright love letters to the sun. I love it that much. But anyway, this is my outfit today:

Inspire me

A lot of things inspire me. I find inspiration in a almost everything. If you look close enough you can always see the beauty in things. Inspiration comes in different ways and different sizes. You guys (bloggers), inspire me the most! And some celebs inspire me too.
I also find my inspiration in the streets. People just walk by you. And you don't know who they are, but they inspire you in some way. I hope I can inpsire some people to bring out the best in them. You can always find bad things in the world, but if you just look at it a little different, you could see the light in the darkness. I wanted to share some pictures with you. These pictures are just a few of the many I have on my laptop! It's a shame that they just sit there, with no one to look at them.

Room.

Most of my outfit pictures are taken in my room. So I thought I'd show you how my room looks. I redecorated this summer. It was a hell really. We redecorated almost the whole house, and it was very stressful. But the results turned out pretty good I think. I'm very happy with how my room looks now. I painted the walls myself, with a little help from my mom. Have a look;

Almost everything is from Ikea. I really love everything they have there! And, yes that is a Twilight poster on my door. I am an HUGEEEE fan. How could anyone resist a sexy, hot vampire? If you haven't read the twilight books by Stephanie Meyer, you should definitely check them out. I promise, they won't let you down.

It is so cold. I wish it were summer already. I can't wait to wear almost nothing, haha. So today I was free again, I have the whole week off actually. But I can't even really enjoy it because of the weather. My inspiration is gone, I don't feel like getting dressed. But I still try to wear something nice. Snowy day

Hi there,
Today was a good day, although it was snowing a little. I didn't have school so I hung out with my friend all day long. First we went looking for some fabric to make skirts with, but I haven't found anything pretty. Then we went shopping. And after that I had an appointment with someone who works as a legal consultant at the police. I had to do an intervieuw, because I study law. And we have to find out where we want to work. That went well, she was very nice. After that we went back to my house to watch more One Tree Hill (addiction!!). So here is my oufit for today;

Yesterday two of my friends had a birthday party. It was very fun. We just danced and laughed. Also we played singstar. It is so much fun. You can pretend to be a real singer. Not that my singing talents are good.

My sister had this belt she never wore, she didn't like it. It had these studs on it. When I saw that belt today in the closet I had an idea! So I took of all the little studs. I had these boots, so I just put them on my boots to give it a nice look. I really like studs, and I must say the result is really pretty. Have a look;

Gossip Girl addiction

I am so busy with my exams and all. Today I had two of them and I think they went pretty well. I don't really have time to take outfit pictures, and my outfit is pretty boring anyway. But I'll take some pictures tomorrow. So for now, a quick post.

I'm really addicted to gossip girl. I love that show. But more than that, I love their outfits. They always look so fabulous and gorgeous! So I thought I'd share my favorites. Here they are:

Serena has a more bohemian kind of look. It's really casual and so pretty. Blair is more neat. I adore her coloured tights. And also, she wears a lot of red. Which happens to be my favorite colour.

Delicious red

I love red, I always have and always will. Some people think it's too much, but I really adore it. And Miss Blair Waldorf made me like it even more. Red is really her trademark, and I absolutely love every outfit she wears. A little red in an outfit can't ever be wrong, right? Anyway, this is what I wore today. I love my red tights.

The dress is from Zara, and the shoes are also from Zara. The tights are from a little shop in Turkey.

So today I haven't done anything interesting, just study. I'm really getting tired of it. But I have to pass my exams, so just another week till freedom. Yesterday was fun though, I went to a party that my uncle arranged. My family was there, as well as my friends. I had a great time dancing and just having fun. What have you done this weekend?

Today was a nice day. It was sunny and not really cold. I had a nice walk in the park. Also I had to study again, like I have to everyday. I will be studying till the end of next week. After that I will be free to do whatever I want, and I have greatttt ideas! I will definetly use my camera a lot more than I do now. So here is my boring outfit for today.

Lazy sunday

Today has been a very lazy day for me. I really haven't done anything interessting all day. Just studying, study, study and oh I forgot: study! I didn't even feel like getting dressed so I stayed in my sweats al day. That way I am more comfortable while I study. I had a nice cup of tea, with honey. Mmmm, that's really tasty and makes the tea really sweet. Ofcource I haven't done as much as I should have, so I'll just have to continue in a minute. I just wanted to take a little break. And what's better than a blog break?

After a long search, I have finally found the leather jacket of my dreams. I have been searching for a leather jacket that looked like a biker jacket for so long now. I was so excited when I finally found one on H&M online shop.

What do you think? I hope it looks as good in real life as it does in this picture. It should be here towards the end of Januari . And I can't wait to make lots of new exciting outfits. The reason for me wanting a jacket like this is actually because of a character on a tv show called One Tree Hill. I think you might know it, it really is a great show. And I really adore the character Peyton Sawyer. I think she is just amazing. I love her taste in music, the way she dresses and her great personality.

I love how she looks like a rocker chick. She wears these awesome band t-shirt and leather jackets. She always looks so simple, but still very pretty. What do you think of her style? Do you watch One Three Hill?

I want summer!

It is so cold outside. But it's getting better because last week it was 8 degrees below zero. Now it's 4 degrees. But it is still to cold for my taste. And the days are so short, it gets dark so soon. I'm really a summer person. Maybe it is because I was born in July. I'm always so happy and energetic in the summer. But the winter makes me depressed. But I still try to make the best out of it. Here is a picture that I took when it was 8 degrees below zero. And no, that is not snow!

This is what I wore to school yesterday .

Normally I wear this with tights, but it was just so cold. I didn't feel like wearing it with just tights so instead I wore them with jeans. The jeans are from Levi's and the top from Zara. I wore black boots with them. Yesterday was a pretty boring day. I went to my classes and when I got home I started studying. I'm studying law at the university so I have a lot of schoolwork. And I haven't done much, so that means I'll have hurry up. In the evening we went to visit my aunt in the hospital. She had an operation. When I got home I watched some tv and went to bed. I was so tired all day.

Today I spent the day with a friend. We ate out, I loveee fastfood. It was also cold today. This is what I wore.

It's a very cute dress from Zara. I really love how it makes me feel like a gypsy. I'm really into the whole gypsy/bohemian look. Anyway I should really study because I haven't done that today. I don't feel like doing so either. But on the good side, it's weekend already. I'll probably have my nose in the the books. What will you be doing in the weekend?

A new beginning.

This is my very first post. I have another blog. But it seemed like fun to have just another one. I really like blogging. I just love to read what other people all over the world are doing and wearing. It really inspires me to see all the outfits and photos. I got a little jealous, so I started my own blog.
